In SocialErasmus week, we wanted to introduce Social Erasmus to our Erasmus students and we wanted to do it outside the classroom. As ESN Gazi, we care about animals, especially of those who have experienced human being harrassements and abandoning. So, we decided to go to an animal shelter to raise awareness, get involved and volunteer. We visited a local dog shelter and spend there a very good time with playing and taking care of supercute dogs! We also brought a great amount of dog food with us to make our little friends happy! We were guided and informed about the life conditions of the dogs and how they are treated by the vets working there. We also learned about the current problems they are facing with, how many animals need help and how we can volunteer. We are already planning to go back!
